Shuttle buses will provide service between Ashland and Framingham Stations starting Aug. 26. The buses will pick up passengers at each station, with that schedule becoming available in the near future, MBTA officials said. (Neal McNamara/Patch) ASHLAND, MA — A station on the MBTA's Framingham-Worcester Commuter Rail Line is set to receive $2.5 million worth of repairs and improvements this fall. Ashland Station will close starting Aug. 26 through the fall of 2023, according to MBTA officials. Work will include a complete restoration of the pedestrian overpass, platform resurfacing, the installation of digital signage and more.
