(Shutterstock) FRAMINGHAM, MA — Blue-green algae blooms in Lake Cochituate have prompted state officials to advise the public to avoid swimming in the water. All ponds at Lake Cochituate are part of the advisory, which includes ponds in Framingham, Natick and Wayland, according to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
